Blogging will improve your search engine ranking!

Over 80% of real estate buyers begin their search for homes online …

… so you should understand the importance of getting the search engines attention, otherwise your efforts go to waste! Realtors always ask me how they can get their site on the front page of Google or Yahoo.

However, the competition is fierce amongst real estate agents and to top it off you have to compete with all the lead aggregators like Realtor.com, HouseValues, Homegain, etc…

The first thing you need to do is, set up your real estate blog. Blogs are very inexpensive compared to websites, they are relatively easy to set up and require little to no programming knowledge and the search engines love them.

If you already have a blog but aren't being noticed by the search engines we have some solutions for you. Since search engines absolutely love fresh content, you should be posting new content at least twice a week, preferably 3-4 times weekly.

The more often you post the better and the more Google will love you!.

So don't let your competition beat you to the top of the search page, sit down and start brainstorming future real estate related post topics. Doing this will help you on those days you just don't feel up to writing and you will have a nice library of drafts.

In fact you can pre-write your content and then have WordPress publish the content on the days and times of your choosing!
