SDARlogo Introduction to Social Media Class for Realtors… If you are an active Realtor in San Diego County you want to attend tomorrow's class, it is the first of 9-part series of Social Media & Blogging courses.  Drew and Peter will be sharing some exciting tips to help you explode your real estate business in this introduction course, so do yourself a favor and show up to SDAR tomorrow at 12pm.

This introduction course will be information packed and will focus on teaching Realtors how to use Social Media & Blogging to improve their real estate business.  This may be the most important 2 hours you can invest in education this week for your business.

I just finished the 4th day class in a series on social media classes offered to SDAR Realtors.  Taught by both Peter Toner and Drew Burks all I can say is WOW!  My background is in building large international networks  and I have no fear in understanding complex technologies.  I mistakenly thought  that all I had to do was learn the software.  After spending the past year learning the tools  to gain an understanding of what Web 2.0 is all about,  I still wasn't getting it.  All I can say is that Peter and Drew get it and after spending the time in class I can now say that  I do too!  After taking their class on Facebook, I was so impressed that I immediately signed up both my wife and our 14 and 16 year old teenagers, making it a family learning experience.   This IS the future fellow SDAR Realtors.  The classic means of farming for business is DEAD and you know it.  You see it happening all around you and many of you have built web pages thinking that that was all you had to do, and had disappointing results if any.  The reason I know is because I have been down the same path.   No web page, no matter how fancy is going to get you the business.  All of you that have been in the business know that it's all about relationships, and Web 2.0 (social media) IS all about relationships, only magnatudes greater.  I just noticed that Drew and Peter had a following of 4,500+.  When was the last time you communicated with 4,500+ prospects in a single article?  This IS the future and I invite you all to join me.  There is more than enough to go around and Drew and Peter do not hold back on sharing their knowledge.

Mike … where do I begin? I guess I should first express our sincere gratitude for sharing your time, all of your generous questions during the class. Have you thought about your offline marketing? at Http://DoubleUpPrinting.com they double your print order at no charge. You order 500 business cards, they print and ship 1000, you order 1000 flyers, they print and ship 2000, etc. Use any of their FREE templates and images, or upload/design your own. You have complete design control.
