Writing content daily, but not getting quality traffic let alone loyal readers to your real estate blog?

What do I do?
The good news is, attracting motivated real estate buyers and sellers to your blog is actually the easy part!
Maybe you are just trying to overthink the whole concept – you just need to follow some basic rules of blogging and search engine optimization …
… here is how to get you started on the right path.
- Learn how to write relevant content for the web
- Learn how to format your blog pages & posts for top search engine results
- Master these 6 SEO Tips and never pay per click ever again
- Always speak from the heart, don’t be afraid to state your opinion or be a bit controversial
- Try to end every blog post with a question – this will entice your readers to post comments. Comments are good!
- Have a clear picture in your mind of who you want reading your wonderfully crafted master prose (see video below)
So just what do you need to do to get your blog visitors saying
"I love this Realtor, he/she really knows their stuff."
A great real estate blog should have at least the following core components:
- Relevant content and lots of it
- A strong call to action
- Quality FREE Reports
- Decent RSS feed for opt in subscribers
However, none of these components will do you much good if you don’t have the best IDX home search to allow buyers to search for new homes.
We recommend you consider using Diverse Solutions for your IDX provider – it’s flexible, robust, offers RRS feeds for listing updates and can be configured to display predetemined search results (ideal for neighborhood specific pages).
The other not so good news is, having a flood of motivated buyers and sellers on your blog doesn’t make you any money unless you know how to convert them into clients – we will address this in a new post shortly.
