A Brand NEW Kind of Internet Browser
Search Google, Yahoo and MSN from the same portal, seem like a good idea?
Imagine being able to search for whatever you want and review results from the top 3 largest search engines on the web, now you can!
Leapfish has come up with an innovative new way for you to use the internet.

One of my favorite features on leapfish is how you get the list of search results along with News, Images & Youtube videos with every search. Once the results are displayed you can simply mouse over the images or video’s and they start playing…you don’t have to click over to another site!
Another feature that I really appreciate is that once you have typed in your search term or phrase and your results are displayed, you can toggle between the different search engines: Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Additionally you can then also toggle between categories such as: Web, News, Answers, Video’s, Shopping and Blogs. This format speeds up your research time exponentially.
The other side of the search coin…
Before the other day I had never heard of Leapfish, but my phone rang and on the other end of the line was a typical phone salesperson. Two or Three minutes into his pitch I politely stopped him and asked what it was he was selling me, but he seemed more interested in finishing his scripted pitch than telling me what he was selling.
Finally he go to the point: leapfish is attempting to sell "keywords & key phrases". In theory this may seem like a good idea, but also feels a bit arbitrary when it comes to setting the price/value of a given keyword or keyphrase.
Doing some research I found quite a few online articles that you may also be interested in reading before making a purchase with leapfish.
Let us know your thoughts? Do you think this is smart investment? Some people have compared it to buying domains as investments ….

Not sure you are allowed to modify their search widget by removing the non-script element from it
– the part that says “Powered by LeapFish”?
I think you might be right, so I just took off the flashy/gimicky widgety thingy, given that the sales tactics of this service are somewhat questionable – see
TechCrunch Article about Leapfish
Don’t want to get into any more trouble than we have to, now do we?
Not if you want to make some money with their widgets. I am not quiet sure what is their position on that. LeapFish marketing director avoided my question about their potential linking payola via affiliate widget. I have been in affiliate marketing since 2005 and hate when a merchant tries to pull a fast on you with these sort of things.
Then again, me and LeapFish don’t see eye to eye
Not sure if the cold calling still works, but I believe it does belong in the last millennium.
One would be better off producing 3 or 4 top notch press releases for the price of one “keyword” on LeapFish.
Great blog by the way. Wish you much of success with it!
