Facebook Questions now in Beta

Facebook now has "Questions"

… will Realtors have the "Answers"? The new Facebook Questions feature, currently in Beta is not yet  available to most users.

Questions will work like Trulia Voices and Yahoo Answers, it will also be in competition with Ask.com, which just announced that users can have questions answered by real people.

Realtors will be able to answer questions that are relevant to their niche – a really great way to attract more traffic and potential fans to their fan page. With Facebook's 500 Million + users this is going to be very powerful!

This new feature will allow Realtors the opportunity to demonstrate their area of expertise and knowledge to a group of potential clients.

For example, if someone was planning to move to a new area and wanted to know the best neighborhoods, schools and/or parks, etc… you can use Facebook Questions to get answers from residents living in or around that area – or from real estate agents with area expertise.

Questions can be tagged with a specific topic, "Dog Parks" or "Walking Trails" or "Short Sales," for example, and will be shown to people who have expressed interest in the particular topics you tag, as well as to your friends and friends of friends.

But the reaction to this change isn't at all positive.  Complainers say that it will divert fans away from their business page. We did note over on Mashable though that Facebook told Mashable’s Ben Parr that brands will later be able to answer questions using their own pages.

Many don't like change, but guess what – Facebookers are getting used to it!

Peter Toner and Drew Burks have made available a series of free videos about social media for real estate professionals

Just out is a video about Facebook  where we give away a free custom Welcome Landing Page – plus the software tools to edit it plus full instructions are included.

Do you like the concept of the new Facebook Questions & Answers feature?
