Are you following your passion?

How do you know if you are following your passion?

One easy way to know is by asking yourself some simple questions …

1. Do you absolutely love what you are doing each and every day?
2. Do you wake up excited to go to work?
3. Do you desire to learn as much as you can about what you are doing?

If you answered NO to anyone of these questions, it is likely you are not following your passion. 

Most of our grandparents probably told us something like, "Do what you love"!  Sounds simple …

… but for some reason it isn't really that simple for most of us.  I recently read the book, Crush It, from Gary V. and let me tell you, it is a great book and everyone should read it ASAP!  (along with Chris Brogans book Trust Agents).

Crush it is well written and did a great job at helping me realize that I wasn't really pursuing my passion 100%.  Thankfully I am now back on track and loving it.

I wanted to write this post ..

… because I know there are millions of other people running around everyday doing shit they hate.  Some of my best friends go to a job every single day that they hate and I know this because I listen to this complain about it every chance they get.

If so, you really should read Crush It and take action to follow your passion in life.  Afterall, we only get this one time that I am aware of.

It would be really great if about 50% of the realtors in the country would get out of this profession and pursue their passion.  Think about it…. this would be a Win-Win situation for everyone:

• Consumers would have a better impression of Realtors
• Consumers would have a much better experience with their Realtor
• Realtors (those whose passion is Real Estate) will have more clients and earned income
• Brokers will have way less headaches and liabilities running around town
